    Calendar acknowledgements

Well hopefully by now everyone except maybe one or two people have received their calendars… and are smiling while looking at the lovely pics that were submitted!

A little something that a lot of you don’t know it the actual production costs of the calendar went up considerably this year… to the point that the $15 we were charging last year would almost not cover it. However we wanted to keep the costs to the members the same, which meant we needed some help…

On cue in stepped Star Insurance, Mandownunder and Big Dave to save the day…

Star insurance generously back the calendar, no questions asked, so I thought the least I could do would be to thank them for their support of the 2007 Calendar. A quick note on what they do:
They are a specialist motorcycle insurer that offers Kiwibikers the best policy and price. The great thing is they will cover us not only for road use but for trackdays as well.
You can access Star Insurance through your local dealer, broker or call directly: 0800 96 8000

Mandownunder and Big Dave were more than happy to help as well – guys your support has been highly appreciated.

Dare I see it..... lets make the 2008 one even bigger and better!

Note: please keep this one on topic guys.

    Well done to all
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

    Nice post, Joni!
The calender is great and I skite about it to everyone! Even the Missus thought it was great after initially questioning me spending $15 on a calender when we get so many given to us...

Those involved certainly deserve a big thanks, a real professional effort and great pics. Look forward to next years.

Thank YOU all!!! I wondered why the extra advertising on the calendars

As for Star Insurance, i rang them this week and they were polite, friendly and very easy to deal with.. 3 questions and i got a quote, one sentence later and the quote was lowered to beat, substantially, my current insurance!

    Nice work!
