    whine, whine, winge, winge.........

How about this, you have the shockingly poor, the filthy rich and the rest of us in between...end of story...no mystery...you can either afford stuff, you can afford lots of stuff or you can afford stuff all!!!!

8 tribes, what a load of toss, its crap like this, that further divides an already heavily fractured society...it just legitimises peoples prejudices.... if anyone thinks this is a good thing, then don't complain the next time you get phoned during your dinner by market researchers, wanting to know what toilet paper you use....it all amounts to the same thing...and don't be fooled by the website either, this idea is about as revolutionary as the wheel.....

I'm like SO not in any of these tribes....I'm like SO individual and unique and no one thinks or acts like me and I know ALL the cool music you know, like, because I liked NSYNC when they were still underground and you know like.....blah blah

I turned out to be a North Shore tribe member, probably because I love money and success and am working my balls off to get rich and become successful..

well that and forming stats on what people think they are, which will then form the basis for marketing and advertising campagains etc etc, 'cus they know that anyone that fills one of these out online, will do it very honestly...and the results they gather are as a result very accurate (for their own ends that is).....

I don't know how they get the name of the tribes, but I'm Papatoetoe apparently.

''Though this tribe is no longer as prevalent or as powerful as it once was, it has had a significant effect on the values and attitudes of many New Zealanders. Many Papatoetoe tribal attitudes have their origins in classic industrial-age, blue-collar values: hard work, solidarity with the workers and distrust of the bosses and educated types. That was the era of the state house, flagon of beer and an honest day’s pay for an honest day’s work.''

I grew up in the most industrial blue collar area in NZ - Mt Wellington, which was the working class suburb that supplied Penrose with it's workers....Penrose was then the most industrialised area in the country. And I went to Penrose High School, their job was to supply working fodder to the factories.

While certainly not typical working class - my base philosophy is definatly an honest day's pay for an honest day's work.I have a distrust of those who don't work with their hands and the sweat of their brow....you get to where you want to be by shear hard work, making money out of nothing is the lowest form of existance.
