[QUOTE=Deano]It was a great day alright. The marshalls had their shit together this time and were sweeping the mud and grass sods off the track after the drifters had done their best to piss the bikers off. Although I think they need another broom at Higgins as there was kitty litter gravel spreading out from the apex.
As I went to leave, several drifters had parked in the alley of the 'concrete stables', blocking me in (bikes had been using these all day but most had left by this stage).
I put all my gear on, thinking the dickhead in front of my stable would get the hint...no...I started the bike up....still no response, so I had to ask could they move the car back so I could get out....fecken ignorant assholes. If there had been some gravel at the exit of the stables I would have sprayed them all.
Glad to see you all kept it shiny side up !! ... I saw you all in Waikanae as I was heading from the weekend in Wellywood to home ..... was feeling a tad seedy but the cold soon sorted me out !! At least I didn't have the traffic you guys had to get through. I'm hoping to actually be on the track for the next one .... as long as no one laughs at my attempts to get to grips with my technique and find some speed...... might need a push every now & then
A man can move much faster without a millstone around his neck, so if he gets the chance to lose her he'd better drop her and run like heck !! .. (10cc "Modern Man Blues" - Deceptive Bends)
