Manfield Track day for cars n Bikes Sun 1st Aug

For those that are keen its another public day tomorrow at Manfield (Feilding) 1st August.
It was great value last month. I met up with Jimbo, Deano Cycosis and a few others up the Hill today who intend going. Remember, if bikes don't support the event the organisers may decide to dump the bike sessions. Time for you Wanganui riders to turn up. You lucky Buggers only have a 35 minute ride to get there, so no excuses!!

Great to see you boys there again, pissed off I wasn't able to ride.

Sorry for bailing early too, bit of a crisis at home to be attended to. There was no beer in the fridge and Lena was refusing to get any more.

Quick trip home and it's all sorted.

It was a great day alright. The marshalls had their shit together this time and were sweeping the mud and grass sods off the track after the drifters had done their best to piss the bikers off. Although I think they need another broom at Higgins as there was kitty litter gravel spreading out from the apex.

As I went to leave, several drifters had parked in the alley of the 'concrete stables', blocking me in (bikes had been using these all day but most had left by this stage).

I put all my gear on, thinking the dickhead in front of my stable would get the hint...no...I started the bike up....still no response, so I had to ask could they move the car back so I could get out....fecken ignorant assholes. If there had been some gravel at the exit of the stables I would have sprayed them all.

But otherwise a good day - had a good rort over Paekak Hill on the way home too.

Next open day is 29 August.

Good call, although I think he was gutted enough at not being on the track himself, let alone cleaning up for as as well.

Pity he left early, he could have taken the SP out in the last session as I had had enough by then.

Good to see you there Deano and yep, it was another sunny pleasant valley day in Feilding. It must have been kitty litter because it pissed me off too.
Got damn cold about the time we parted company at Paekakariki. Haven't you Guys learnt anything from Jimbo about the Paekakariki Hill Rd?
Next time we need to lay down the law on who owns the stables. Block the entries with bikes.
ps- I've sacked our camera man, Speilberg's job is safe as. I'll attach a couple of pics savalged from the footage of sky and grass.

    Wot me learn sumfin ??

The temptation was just too great Mark, although I didn't do any crazy shit getting past Dion's brother and Byron, but yes, the red mist came down a bit and I know every nook and cranny on that road.

Now if those two had just moved over earlier on, the crazy shit probably would have started while chasing Dion.

I'll come up to the next one and take some footage.

And Deano - I will book myself in for the last session on the SP seeing as you are too soft and can't last a whole day - my ankle should be right buy then

Glad to see you all kept it shiny side up !! ... I saw you all in Waikanae as I was heading from the weekend in Wellywood to home ..... was feeling a tad seedy but the cold soon sorted me out !! At least I didn't have the traffic you guys had to get through. I'm hoping to actually be on the track for the next one .... as long as no one laughs at my attempts to get to grips with my technique and find some speed...... might need a push every now & then
A man can move much faster without a millstone around his neck, so if he gets the chance to lose her he'd better drop her and run like heck !! .. (10cc "Modern Man Blues" - Deceptive Bends)

Bugger!, was not sure if it was on for bikes again on Sunday. A few of the Wanganui crew are out of action at the moment too which does not help numbers.
    Will be there 29th August.........
