    Could have been any one of those options. I have seen a few bikes go up high like that over the years. Even seen a chair do Pitt Special imitation.

    Ended up being the most photographed "vehicle" all day.... the tyre mark on the roof was pretty impressive

    I don't know about how the accident happened, but it was in the braking zone at the end of the back straight, and the bike managed to hit the tyre wall in just the right way to shoot it straight up in the air, higher than the 3 meter hedge surrounding the track, and it landed on the marshalls 4x4 as documented in the photo attached to an earlier post. I don't know how far back the marshalls car was parked from the wall, but the entrance of a corner is not where you expect something like that to happen.

    Ssangyong are talking with the marshall about doing him a deal to get him in a new Ssanyong of some description, and this offer was witnessed by everyone at the prize giving on Sunday night.

    Slim I thought I saw you leanng on the fence when we came in from the sidecar race, but I didn't spot you in the pits anywhere
