Ummmmmmm, don't want to be a killjoy or a cunt (although I am) and this'll probably be taken the wrong way but........

Why the fuck are people always going on about "I'm moving up to the fast group/medium group" or whatever? I mean, just because ya decide to "move up" doesn't mean you're actually riding any faster.

Why not be like that wally from the Shetland Islands on his tricked out K6 that "owns" the slow group?

Really gutted i didnt get to go to the one on the 11th but ill make up for lost time. It'll be good to see all the rest of you there too. Sounds like its gonna be full pretty soon too.

True but for those of us who have just started doing track days we actually DO get faster and so move up so that we get to ride with faster guys and thus hopefully get faster ourselves....

Was recommended to me that I started off in the fast group due to riders style/experience/safety but as I'm new at this track stuff it's more about my confidence on track.
At the end of the day they might kick me down to the slow group...lol....mind you it wouldn't faze me in the slightest,but hoping to learn some good skills and I'm certain I will.
