    Sportsmanship alive and well

This is a big ups to a guy from CH CH called ANDY EVAN'S

Andrew Stroud had a massive get off at around 240kph at Invercargill on the weekend in the first 600 race, a water hose let go on his bike ( It had been rubbing against his fairing) and bumped all the water onto the rear wheel and spat him off as he was braking and tipping into a corner, so the race was Red flagged.

His bike was such a mess it was impossible to repair in time for the re start, so I asked another competitor if he would consider standing down and lend Andrew his bike ( K6 GSXR Suzuki) HE DID IT

Andy, I have no idea if you ever get on this board mate, but what you did really impressed me mate, that was brilliant sportsman ship, and if I can ever help you in anyway, please just ask

    Nice stuff.

I bet Stroud won the race too, even on a borrowed bike...

do any of you guys have an SRAD750 front wheel for Frosty?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

If I have it right Shaun also gave up his ride so Andrew could compete. Another generous gesture by you Shaun - must be something in the southern beer !!

Yeah Shaun...you forgot to mention your own sacrifice to help Stroudy on his way. Good onya! And all the best for the next rounds!

Top man Andy. That's what motorcycling's about.

Riding is part of it (a big part of course) but there is sooooooooo much more. Big ups to you too Shaun.

Bro or no bro, you did the decent thing, as you would. I know I don't need to pat you on the back for it, which is the very reason I'm doing it. God that sounds condescending - not meant that way at all.

I saw the DNS for Shaun on mylaps and wondered what the story behind that was... now I know. Good on ya mate.
