Great ride. Thanks Keystone19 and Nicksta for organising it. Well the bit that I did was great.

Sorry, I somehow got lost looking for Haldanes. I went up and down EP Higway and then stopped at another bike shop near the roundabout and they told me that they had moved to East Tamaki???

Went for a nice ride through to Botany and back again, passed Kittyhawk on the way back.

It was getting a bit late and I needed to get home to organise myself for my 40km horse race tomorrow.

Hope everyone had fun, angry with myself for getting lost and see everyone at the next one.

    Hey girls,

Great day, nice to see so many Angels out today, shows you how many of us there are (22 approx turnout).

Great ride, great company, great weather... what more can I say.

Hope there's another ride planned this year! Nice to see you all and meet new faces. Thanks Keystone19 & Nicksta for a well planned enjoyable run.

Well done everyone! What a fantastic day - I have literally just got home!

We all met at Westgate at 1030 and by 1100 we were on the road - I think there were 22 or 23 bikes! Nearly all were sportsbikes and I think 3 cruisers!

We headed to Muriwai and you should have seen the faces of the cafe staff as we headed down the hill and pulled into the parking space outside the cafe. First of all it was kind of OMG look at all those bikes, then it was OMG, they're all chicks, come and look at this!

After coffee and a chat (and breakfast for some!) we headed north up 16 to Helensville, through there and right onto Peak Rd - Madduck headed up 16 and a couple of others headed off as well. Back through Peak Road and Old North Rd, a quick regroup before heading down the motorway to Haldanes where cold drinks awaited us. We had a bit of a look through the new shop (very, very nice..), a few items of clothing were tried on and then it was off again. A couple more riders headed off home from Haldanes until there was only four of us left. Me, Girlygirl, Draco and StrokerGirl headed down to Kaiuaua. A quick trip through the GP saw us grab fish and chips for tea and then back to Clevedon and home. We had two drops of rain all day!!!

Fantastic effort from all the girls today - stand out riders to me were Lteejay and Chickadee looking very smooth and Kittyhawk looking very comfortable on her new GSXR.

Sorry we lost you heading to Haldanes White Belt - sounds like you must have turned left off the motorway not right. My bad..

Great to catch up with Madduck and MVSenna. Also neat to meet a whole bunch of new girls as well.

    Some piccies below.

Looking forward to the next one - and I will follow up on the topic I mentioned at lunchtime and keep you all posted.

Well, what a brilliant day I had!

Started out with a big breakfast - coffee, bacon, eggs, tomato's, toast, baked beans and apple juice. (thanks Ben, you rock!)

Headed up to Westgate to meet, then off out to Muriwai for lunch.

From Muriwai we shot up to Hellensville, then off out Peak Rd, then onto Old North Rd back to Kumeu.

Having never been on Peak Rd/Old North Rd on a bike before, I must say what a nice road you Nor' Westerners have, what a god damn bitch that the ginga doesn't have a life.

Jill had organised a visit to Haldanes to check out girly leathers, so off we went, then Jill, Draco, StrokerGirl and I shot off to do the Kaiawa GP, picking up an Affdude on the way (as you do ) and an Old Guy at Kaiawa.

Go Jill and the wheelie practise (I am not worthy!)

Special thanks from me to Jen (Draco) who made my day by giving me some constructive feedback, telling me what I needed to change and then offering to let me follow, watch and emulate.

I am now climbing off the bike in the twisties - on average half an arse cheek! And what a difference it makes! As I said "I get it now". [When the corner tightens up, just slide off the bike and pull it over further]

Thanks to Keystone and Nicksta who organised a perfect girly coffee run, no incidents at all, what seemed to me to be almost 30 happy girly bikers - (oh and we can't forget Shane now can we!)

See you all at the next one!

    Gg

Oh and special thanks to Stify who was on kid duty, you long time, big boyee.

What a wicked day! Thanx to Keystone and Niksta for organising it. Thanx to the chickies who were pointers. Thanx to ALL you ladies for the awesome company. Thanx to the weather god, she turned out the for us. Who'd have thought so many gorgeous girls in leather could scare the natives there were plenty of jaws dropping at Muriwai I'm sure i'm not the only one keen for another.

Sounds like you all had fun, well done to the organizers of this ride
Seems like some got lost, or they needed more than a coffee, I ran into this lot out Kaiaua, was nice to chat with you all, and ride back to Clevedon, hope the rain held off

    cheers John
