Of course they doubled their fee's. They (Fairfax) paid 40x revenue. That means if returns stayed the same they wouldn't get their money back for half a century.

Can anyone say "overpriced". Doesn't bother me, I don't remember the last time I sold something through TM. If it gets to bad it'll just create the oportunity for a new player to enter the game.

The success fee rates haven't changed for about the last 4 or 5 months I believe...

They tried to charge me $20 to withdraw my auction for the SV650 so I left it running after I sold it but put the reserve and buy now up to $15000 - idiots.

It's just Fairfax trying to justify the excessive multiple they paid for a website.

I sold my car middle of last year and it cost me $20 to advertise I see that the cost of a general listing is now $29

Basic car auction is now $29 + $29 success fee, if you withdraw the auction they will also now sting you $20

    Full list of fees here:

The success fee for cars and bikes is $20, not $29.

    $19 to list a bike, $29 for a car.

Who is the best and most popular alternative to Trademe?
90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.
