Already there. Silver Stand C. Best corner on the track.

A word to the wise, book your tickets at the a1gp.com site as you can select a specific stand there, whereas on ticketek you can't. Dumbasses.

Heres a map of the seating layout that I got from Taupo Raceway, as the one on the a1gp site didnt have any stands marked on it..

I love watching the a1 gp, one of my fav motorsports (cos nz has a chance of winning )
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Places to stay in Taupo for the w/e now pretty much impossible (the A1 teams have taken a huge chunk of it).
Anyone wanting to go but with nowhere to stay see me at TD4, I may be able to help. Basic but might work for a group of up to six.

My wife checked out Taupo accommodation the day the GP was announced, nothing, nada, nil, niente, zip.
If that's how MNZ look after their fans, I'll pass.

I would've thought stand H would be the best as you've get to watch the mad fuckers try to outbrake each other from 260+kph.

Maybe there are other things on in Taupo....like school holidays???

As for MNZ most of the officals etc will be staying onsite in a makeshift campground, as you dont want them to be held up in the traffic before the event.

Dont forget Rotorua and Napier both about an hour away

    Cheers Scott

Unfortunately we don't have a single level piece of grass on the property but if yer don't mind sleeping on a bit of a slope...............
Can do a shower and toilet tho.

if your serious about the offer, I'll try and get permission to come to taupo tomorrow (Sunday) and have a chat

I've got a 3 day pass, and I'm expecting to bring a friend for friday/saturday, then the wife and kids will come down saturday night, for race day sunday.

We've got a tent site at the Top 10 Holiday park just at the end of Centennial Dr. I'll see if theres any room left on the site for a small tent and get back to you.
