Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

35 (about 100F) - it's up there. Put frozen chicken pieces on the bench to thaw - an hour later I had to put them in the fridge to stop the cooking process

You are right. 35 degrees is the temp we dont cook. Been sitting in the river for last 2hrs. Watched a couple of nose to tail crashes on the motorway bridge. I think the panlbeaters will be busy. I counted 8 cars in need of repair.

Well, it's *really* hot over here in NSW. Yesterday it was 46, and it cooled down to 28 at night. At midnight last night it was still 33 degrees. I can easily handle the mid to high 30's but once over 40, then it get's hot.

The heat is always brought from the desert ny NW'ly winds. To top it off there was a really major bushfire (still burning) which closed the main freeway north from Sydney - the F3, as well as all rail lines north from Sydney. You wanna know what's scary? The Murray River will be bone dry , down to the bed by March!!! It's main dams are already at 3% capacity!!
    Lotsa beautiful sunny days though...

Also very hot and humid here in the NT. Last night was 28ēC and lot of thunder and lightning... No sitting under trees then!
rainy season is here, nice though, temp doesn't really drop very much.

    Take care out there

I've experienced heat waves in Italy, Dominican Republic and Greece. All three managed to reach 42 degrees in the shade - I thought that was nice and comfortable.

December 1998 went ice climbing in Scotland. About -30 degrees at 1,000 metres.

NZ has a really tiny temperature range - you fellas are really lucky.
