Actually, at this rate I may be having to sell the target rifle and my other .22 is slightly broken so I may not even be there :|

Get your arse there.. we'll find you some hardware to play with in the meantime. I've got a Marlin .22 that seems to have too many .22 friends in the gun safe so you're weclome to borrow and practice with that for a while. heavy trigger though
$2,000 cash if you find a buyer for my house, kumeuhouseforsale@straightshooters.co.nz for details

Other things taking my attention and I haven't shot the 10/22 since christmas/new year. If I sell it before this, I'm sure Alex will be happy to demonstrate a properly accurate .22.

Cheers for the offer, much appreciated. Hopefully the Stirling will be fixed soon, the tab that broke off from the action is epoxied back on now and looking pretty solid. Ideally I'd like to mill out an entire replacement lower receiver, but the rifle really isn't worth the work.

I sold my 3030 Marlin too!

As for the 10/22, they are good, but if you want it really good, i would get either a target barrel or a fully suppressed barrel.

the problem with semi's is that the action always makes a bit of noise, and you lose accuracy.

I have a TOZ 78 in the shop at the moment being kitted out with a decent scope and silencer.

I used to shoot alot with the 10/22, but i prefer my norinco 22 magnum for accuracy and punch

    "Poaching"

if your shooting possum, i use a 10/22 with red dot sights.
    Rabbits, I use the toz
The norinco is good at both, but you cant do it quietly, so for a bit more punch, it is either that or the 12g remmington

had to laugh at the toz, crooked sights, a owners manual typewritten on 50 y/o paper..

russian, rugged, and pretty well made!

The rifle is home - and what a sweet little thing it is too! Trigger's a bit heavy but for a 10 year old I'm happy to err on the side of safety rather than enjoy the excitement of an accidental discharge.

...only 4 more slots available in the gun cabinet...

Nice little MP-27N sitting at my home waiting for a loving owner

BTW Last night I purchased another rifle. Another old one.

Whitworth rifle .451 2 band volunteer, needs work but looks good to nshoot. Hexagonal barrel, missing rear sight (ALREADY FOUND AN ORIFGINAL REPLACEMENT)

1854 muzzle loader in my collection.
