Yeah, same system as used by some random disneyworld ride I think. I know just enough about implementing an IPT system to know that I want to stay the hell clear of it

Using it as a reference for steering would be easy, what is needed to get efficient power transfer starts to get me into the eyes glazing level of miscomprehension!

Yeah, hence why I was thinking of just stuffing a car battery on there, both to provide power and ballast...

Looks very good. Forwarded to the others.

It looks as though the last thing we need for the council is to superimpose our planned range onto the terain map.

Steve is sending me the drawings and I will get our GIS people to help me .

We have answered all their other concerns to their satisfaction.

18 months of work and planning. Not long to go now.

Great news. Looking forward to helping out how and when I can. Am I right in guessing that once you get the go-ahead there are going to be building days, working bees etc. I'm down for that on those weekends when I've got no other commitments.

Sorry I havent been on this weekend. I have worked the whole time.

We have just changed over my whole network from a single IP scope to 3 IP scopes. At tthe same time we completely changed the IP address while we there.

Good thing is that not one of our essential applications fell over. Sure there have been minor glitches but on the whole it all worked sweetly.

SO after putting in 30 hours over the weekend and another 8 hours yesterday doing printer fixes I am relieved.

On the way home last night we saw some people on the motorway and one of them was stretched out flat.

Sharron and I pulled over and she renf=dered her nursing skills for 30 min whilst the others were on the phone to the ambulance.

An hour later the ambo's called it and the man was officially dead.

In all my 53 years this was the first non violent death I have seen.

Strangely humbling. So whoever you were, go in peace. We tried to help you but it was your time.

    Chris
