All ways liked the M4, can be configured in many ways and never had an issue with reliability, have shot AK's and would rate the Galil and R4 derivities highly for reliability and function, it all boils down to your perspective of what makes an assault rifle good, if its got all the bells and whistles on it or is just a plain old trusty shooter that will knock down anything you shoot at (FN's G3's). Mine would be simple (like me) in 5.56, lots of ammo available, even if it not the hardest hitting, capable of accurate auto fire in short bursts, kept light, no optics.

Depending of where it was to be used would go with 7.62, G3 for more knock down at range or even an Heavy Barrel FN, bipod, full auto..... mmmm full auto...

Hollywood has developed a special mag for firearms that only needs reloading during key moments in action.

What I want to get is the pants that can hold 100 pistol mags fully loaded.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

Yeah, the ones I've used seemed to run for about 3 seconds.

And the 40cal one was real hard to keep on target on full-auot, the three-shot burst mode was not TOO bad.

The compensator is angled in relation to the muzzle, i.e. it slants like somebody sliced it an angle.

Also, when firing full-auto at massed targets, they angled the rifle so it hit in roughly the right area and the recoil caused it to sweep across the crowd...

    Continuing in the Hollywood\TV theme

Can anyone tell me the benifits of holding a pistol in a horizontal position?

It would seem to make it easier for the collection of spent cases but does it aid in the accuracy of firing the pistol?

Also, please enlighten me why in hollwood movies and TV programmes it seems to be more accurate to hold a pistol both horizontally and above the head? This also seems to be linked in with an aggressive attitude and a constant waving of the arms of the person firing the pistol.

I class myself as a student of pistol accuracy and always like to discover the reasoning behind new techniques.

No... it was a design feature to suit their (our) slanted eyes...
