    Unmasking Elon Musk

You don’t have to travel far back in time to see Musk is a door to door Vapoware marketer. He continually fails to deliver on his promises while being a huge parasite on society sucking up huge govt subsidies.
In this thread we can keep track of the promises vs what’s actually been delivered or even plausible.
To kick things off we have Starlink, the overpriced satellite internet service that will create space junk, ruin night sky astronomy and possibly kick start the Kessler effect which would seriously threaten modern humanity.

    Unmasking Elon Musk 2.0

    Hi there,

I'm Al, you can call me Mr Bundy

I'd thought we could start a thread on how wonderful Elon Musk is and how much he is contributing to the advancement of the human race and most importantly, my net worth.

Thanks! Please keep it civil and please remember...I'm smarter than you xox.

Even if Musk is a hustler,

in order to hustle your way to the richest man in the world title, there's gotta be some genius at work.

And given his style and manner, I don't think he's doing it on personal charm.

Regardless of his other activities, what he has shown with the Twitter files (confirming essentially everything Conservatives knew for the past 6 years about social Media and the Left Wing political types) puts him in the Genius camp for me.

Genius Troll maybe (perhaps even 'definitely')

    But still Genius.

Tesla is still something I keep an eye on with some interest. I don't believe battery and recharging tech is sufficient to replace Fossil Fuel and our Energy Grid/Energy production is way off...

    but the developments are interesting.

There are many advantages of an Electric motor which in the right applications could be vastly superior to conventional engines.

I agree electric has its place. His systems continually seem to be at odds with practicality and real world needs though. Starlink really highlights it, what’s the gain vs costs compared to existing service providers, let alone the environmental impact of so many launches.

Elon Musk believes Tesla will be the most valuable company in the world by 2027

Ok let's break this down, but be a little more realistic and push this out to 2030

If Global EV adoption continues on today's growth path and grows from 10% today to 60% of all vehicles in the world by 2030.

& Tesla holds it's market share of about 20% that will include future products of the Cyber truck, Tesla Semi and the first 30k affordable Tesla model and builds several more Giga factories.

Then Tesla deliverers 10 million cars annually in 2030, this would give it a earnings per share of about $32 per share at 30x earnings, this would give a share price of
    drum roll please..

$960 per share or a market cap value of

    $3.4 trillion

Now this doesn't include full self driving, robo taxi or the Optimus Tesla bot.

So yes, Elon Musk will likely be correct although fashionable late as usual.

Completely agree - I mean, I remember bank holiday Petrol Queues - but one of my big issues with EVs is that the time to charge to 80% is still 20 minutes, versus 1-2 minutes to fill a petrol vehicle.

And that picture exemplifies that issue.

Maybe - or maybe that his genius looks to us mere mortals as insanity.

He's just trolling. He'll be on another site defending Prince Andrew and rubbing one out when people get angry. Sign of not having any real life human interaction.
