    Race licence needed ASAP

Im wanting to compete at the PMCC meet this coming sunday....I just need to join a club and get my MANZ licence. Am I dreaming? As I understand it I have to join an affliated club before I can apply for a MNZ licence. Thats fine exept that I cant rely on snail mail. Does anyone have any contact details for the VMC club (I want to join to race the winter series)whom I can phone to speed the process up?

Mate, I'm entering the coming round of PMCC as well. I called up one of the organisers, and he said that entry on the day, as well as getting a day licence on the day should be sweet. I can't recall the guy's name that I spoke to, but I found his details on one of the threads in this section.

He did note that if you're on a motard, pre-entry would be preferable, 'cos there's heaps of them, but if you're racing your 2-fiddy, obviously won't apply to you.

Damn, that reminds me, I have to get a catchment bottle for my radiator fitted.

Check out the attached file, it's got a list of things to do to your bike before you hit the track. Quite useful for us newbs

As per the entry form posted above, the cost is $60 per rider, $20 for the day licence if you need that. $10 for additional classes.

It's only on the old track 3 though, which is a bit disappointing. According to the guy I called, no motards in F2 and F1 though (not sure about F3), so it shouldn't be too cramped.

for the club you need to join any MNZ affiliated motorcycle club, (not hells angels perhaps then...) Doesn't have to be the club you plan on doing a series with, although, that isn't a bad idea either.

Day license does not require you to be a club member of any club, but you can only get a few of them in a year.

To get a day license you MUST be a member of an affiliated club. It's up to the club whether they let you join on the day.

You are only allowed 4 in one year.

vicclub charges $30 for a day license, cos of all the extra hassle it creates at sign on. If you can, get a full license asap.
