Never had a problem with bike security, parked around the corner from the engineering building (beside building 111, I think) under the covered walkway that goes to the libary).

Bigist problem I had is all the bloody scottor riders that park in the same place and dont seem to understand the concept of lining bikes up in orderaly mannor. (but dont wory they are light to move out of the way if a dick head blocks you in, trust me on that one)

They have a private security force there, with bloody good quality surveillance cameras.
Parking is free except for certain Pay-and-display areas, at a hiseous cost of $2- per day!
