You are so right. My excitement got the better of me and I mistakenly used the wrong word - I knew it was there in the depths of my memory but the wrong one rose to the top like scum - as do the pedants who noticed my error. I will now flog myself for at least five minutes as penance.
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

In London I was the brunt of an accusatory "You're dissin' me man" I said "Impossible, there's no such word, I just think you are a complete twat and that your opinions are spouted second hand with no thought." I then broke his nose to prevent any comeback and went upon my way.
