Hi, keep an eye out for 72YMG, a red Lifan Metro 50cc four-stroke scooter stolen yesterday from Weraroa Rd Levin. The young fella who owns it is gutted, still has to pay it off.

I hope they find it - and get the theiving low life who took it!
Years ago, when we lived in Levin, my daughter's push bike was stolen from Weraroa Rd, reported it to the police etc, the next day as I was driving up the main street , there it was, leaning against a shop window. I just loaded it in my van and drove off....
Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans
If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...
Do a drive-by out at Hokio Beach and no doubt you'll spot it. Thieving low-lifes abound in Levin, unfortunately! Glad we live at Koputaroa...
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!
bugger dave .. will keep muh eye out for her .. but yeah hokio is a good place to start
Have toKarma ... Justice catches up eventually !!
FOUND - The young fella and his sister saw the bike being ridden and followed it. They tell me it was recovered from the possession of a Mr. Eric Brown, of 38 Hinemoa St. Levin. For some reason the police are not going to take the matter any further, I guess the case is closed now the bike has been recovered.
Sadly, Mr. Brown had several days between the owner discovering the bike, and the police assisting in its recovery. Mr. Brown used those days to smash the bike up.

That really sucks. I think the police are being bloody slack on that - no matter whether it was recovered or not, he should still be arrested and charged - he still stole it. Also, several days is NOT a good timeframe for them to be doing something about it. Did they let the bastard know that they were on to him, or did he just smash it up anyway?
Surely even if they didn't want to ping him for the actual theft, they could've (and should've) done him for wilful damage to property - ideally they would've done him for the theft plus damage...
