Hi R6 Kid
If you are looking for an apprenticeship contact the boys at Skills4worknz.
Previously ATNZ, Competenz they will give you the best advice if you are interested in an apprenticeship you can contact competenz in Auckland on 0800 275455. First of all try ATNZ or Skills4worknz as its now called, ask for Andy Beauchamp or contact Andy direct on 027 4721378.
Competenz is the Industry Training Organisation for engineering.
If you show you're keen they will snap you up, plenty of fabrication work in Auckland my lad.
Any problems contact me on Freephone 0508 650200 ext 5067.
I assess apprentices in the fabrication industry and may have more contacts that could be of use to you!
Good Luck!!!!! and by the way good choice of trade!!
