    VHS-C Adapter???

Any body got a VHS-C tape adapter I could borrow?

Vicky has some old tapes of her daughter that she wants me to put on DVD but I don't think I can buy one of these prehistoric adapter thingies without paying a small fortune.

Yep technology has marched on Dover. I had to do exactly the same thing a while ago and I borrowed a 'tape expander' (thats what they were called) for VHS-C from on old workmate. I returned it to him as he moved town a while ago.
They used to be issued with camcorders in the 80s and early 90s to go with the VHS-C tapes. Some video repair places may have one or any second hand shops. Maybe even a message on the community discussion board on Trade Me might find someone in your area that has one. Also check out any friends who you know have an old camcorder. Good luck.

Are you taking any prescription medication? [Rain Man]
