Thanks for the comments. I was aware that Paeroa races were on when I posted this ride so i'm not expecting a huge amount of people.

Paeroa may be too far for some 250 riders, however I am open to being convinved to change the destination if the majority of attending riders want to

amazingly enough, yes!! you get on these things called roads, and you take one after another, in the general direction. It gets even better, once you take the right roads, you end up there!!

might tootle along this ride to kaiaua... got a 7 to farewell

If you want a relaxing ride then you might want to reconsider the route ie. out to Kauia..... unless you like being buzzed by almost every bike ( of every description) in Auckland, on their way to Paeroa

Doubt it, most bikes should be gone by 10am I'd say.

    NinjaBoy's right guys.

The races don't start till later in the day - so people not interested in seeing the practice sessions will be leaving later.

I'd personally pick another route if I happened to be organising a newbie ride.

Which way are the paeroa rides going? coast or inland? We can run it in reverse, or mirrored, or... errr.... pick roads at random, and get a bunch of newbies completely lost

I'm sure whichever way we go, and if we come across other bikers along the way, they will, as always, show us other bikers on the road the utmost respect
