    Haha.

I still sometimes wake in the middle of the night thinking of the reserve switch.

Nasty tells me that we're going ... lol

Elle's right, the weather fo the 'rapa is
    - Mostly cloudy, late patchy rain, easterly winds. Up towards Waipuk it's rain all day with "some heavy falls possible"
For the Welly side of the hills
    - Mainly Fine, southeast breezes
interstingly the Kapiti-Horowhenua forecast is better again
    - Mainly fine & warm with high cloud but a few showers possible. Southeast winds.

So, what to do? I was trying to think of the best places over this side that didn't involve SH1 but I'm not that familiar with the world of out-of-the-way roads here yet.

All I can think of is Whitemans Valley (just called the cafe - they're closed on Tuesday) Makara, Ohariu, Shelley Bay then around the south coast, Wainui Coast Road etc etc but none of them really go anywhere and they all involve coming back through town

The original plan's looking pretty good, we'll just get damp on the riding bits

Yea I know the forecast is looking way better for welly side. Be prepared for a change of plans... ie we do something welly side (Trudi might be able to help out with some ideas) . But at the moment we will stick with the orginal ride. Wairarapa riders will most prob meet you all at rimutex at 10am. Ashhurst Boys... as well? Once there we can decide what to do... dont mind getting wet myself, up to the rest of you I guess. Anyway, rain or shine I'll be there.
