Bugger matey, will keep an eye out
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Bad luck, I hope you get it back safely.
It may be worth posting on an american site "adventure rider" which has regional forums for NZ and is frequented by riders of the likes of the 650.
