From my experience the supposed ignominy of being beaten by a chicky babe is partly compensated by the view from behind...unfortunately the view doesn't last very long as they ride off into the distance (eh, Rossi Gal?) and the tears of frustration blur my vision.........

Came past Taupo yesterday afternoon and noticed all the bikes going around the track as we were coming past(Coming back from seeing Eric @ the Mission)& wondered what was on.

congrat's Kelly, don't know what you've done to the bike, or have you got the bit between your teeth, lot more pace on since the last round, certainly showed. Some of those front runners were a little supprised at the pace you were running. Good luck for Pearoa, unfortunatly i won't be there. Give those Motards the hurry up in F3.

Cheers Deano, and everyone, for your support. and no...I wont be racing the Antibling anytime soon.

I entered F3 and Classics just to get a bit more track time before Paeroa. Turned out my classes were run one after the other which suited me fine. My practice sessions got me familiar with the new tyres and the short track as I'd only ever been on it on a sidecar at the have a go day.

For the first time ever, I had a competent mechanic on hand(cheers Steve) to make some minor adjustments and as the day progressed....so did my riding! The classics was a bit of a steal really, it was the best feeling getting to first spot in the first lap and keeping it there until the end.

F3 was a totally different kettle and I really love turn one more than ever! Started nearer the back in every race but the last when I got to, I think, the third row. The chaos that ensued was f*cking unbelievable! To me, this is what F3 racing is all about....mixing it up with all sorts of bikes with all sorts of riders! I got to have some really good racing and enjoyed it immensely!

Thanks to everyone who came and supported me and made it such a pleasurable experience!
