MSD ignitions

Has anyone used one of these on their bike? I watched Full Throttle on the history channel several times and they always praised MSD ignitons for being a simple way to increase performance. And they're good for fuel economy too.

Wouldn't look into it for the RG, the ignition costs half the value of my bike. I'm just curious and It'd be something I'd like to try out on a near future bike

Full throttle was about classic cars. Impalas, Beetles, etc. I was curious on how they'd perform on smaller engines, like bikes
