More often then not there are threads complaining about our good ole boys in blue. I for one am thankfull to them even after once encountering one that took a very distinct disliking to me.

Today bf and I passed one. He waved to both of us. Looking down at my speedo I realised we were both cruising 130ish. It wasnt a warning wave...more of a friendly gesture. Now that i recall, I passed many policecars on my trip last weekend and everytime I checked my speedo I was over the posted limit. Not once did I get pulled over. Im not reckless nor am I a hoon. Im more of a nana on the road..much to the disgust of bf when Im in the lead.

Ive never had a speeding ticket, and Ive only been naughty a couple of times in my youth

Only time I have really had to deal with police is when I have laid a complaint or need their help to which they have responded as quickly and as professionally as they can.

If/when I get nabbed for speeding, I will except my ticket knowing that I do know the rules and I broke them.

now tell us the story about the cop who took a disliking to you. Noone wants to hear about cops doing good stuff.

yes well..i kinda diserved it. They gave me assholes because they thought I was trying to tell them false details. At the police station. I turned the hose on and poked it thru the car window that was just open enough for it. That got me locked up for the rest of the day until they could put me back on the bus home.

The other time...I care not to go into details.

I don't think his bosses would think he's a great guy if they knew that. 130 is stretching the point a tad. Although you were probably only doing a real 120.

I reckon all that revenue going to waste you should take yourself down to the local copshop get your cheque book out and ask to be prosecuted for speeding!!!! If I was a copper you'd be applying for a second mortgage to pay your speeding fines or doing serious time in one NZ's finest correctional facilities!! I don't know how you sleep at night!!!!
