Get yourself a nice tidy Honda Bros. Masterton Motorcycles have got a wee ripper for $4995.

Looking at a sporty bike to mach the zxr and then some. I don't think a single front brake and underpowered engine is the way to go. Looking at anything with an r basically zxR cbR vfR etc etc etc...

    Look on TradeMe.

There are about 1/2 doz - 1 dozen sport 400's on there. Most are for between 3 and 4k.

You could buy my Kwaka ER5. She's a sleeper. Just an idea, since you asked.

Trademe has about 3 or 4 VFR400 NC30's listed at the moment. Very strongly considering selling the CBR and getting one of those when I get my full around the start of next year. Should be able to pick up a decent one for around $4k. Might even be able to get an RVF for $5k or so. Just keep your eyes open.

i have been scanning trademe for 2 weeks now. Either the bike is ridiculously priced or something is wrong with it. There might be one but will see. Just trying to see if anyone here wants to upgrade and is looking at a 400 or 600 they want to sell??

My sister in Hamilton has a zxr400 which she is thinking about selling.

NZ new one I believe, has the square headlight.
    Carbon front guard
    green and white (of course)
    after market can
It might have ventura brackets, I can't remember.

I think she's looking around $3500 -$4000 or so but would have to confirm with her.

Someone else on the site from AK was going to check it out a while ago but couldn't make time to view it.

If you pm me an email address or something I can forward it to her.

Okay, here's one to put the cat amongst the pigeons:

I have been approached by my mate Steve again, asking if I can put his mate Terry's bike up for sale on KB.

    Here's the details:

    1993 GSXR1100
    reg and wof on hold
    pristine condition
    60,000kms
    runs like a dream

    OFFERS
    phone terry on 2336409

Shocking pic I know, but give Terry a call and see what he wants for it. I've been told $5000 will get him interested.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

those things pull like a fucken train i had my one of those to 290km/h and was still pulling hard. only down side, is they are longish and heavy, and take a bit to throw around in the tight twistys, they are great touring or thru open twistys
that thing should be putting out about 140hp rw awsome fun, you should be able to get 300km for a tank(21 litre) long distance
