I'm in the same situation. Need to find a 600-750 sports bike for about $5k Just something that'll be fun for the twisties, but won't mind long trips every now and then.

    1993 GSXR1100
    reg and wof on hold
    pristine condition
    60,000kms
    runs like a dream

    phone terry on 2336409

Shocking pic I know, but give Terry a call and see what he wants for it. I've been told $5000 will get him interested.
Nice but unfortunatley i weigh like 61kg so that would be a little to big a bike for me. ould probably break an arm trying to wip it around the twisties

Sorry Aff-Man, all the VFR400's in NZ are in my workshop :P Or at least if they arnt i plan on them being!
Wicked little bikes though aff-man, no need for replacing camchains with gear driven cams!.. Yeah they are pretty overpriced... You wanna contact Gary @ GPTRADING mate, http://www.gptrading.co.nz/images/bi...400%20NC30.jpg that is a pic of the mint, stock VFR400 NC30 he has, i was going to buy it off him but ran into another one actually... give him an email and tell 'em i sentcha, he races an nc30/35 and is fully into em too - nice guy.

So you are saying you don't want a bike that weighs more than 2.5 times what you do...

Jeez, if I used that rule I'd need a full dresser touring Harley
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    FYI potential ideas for affman:

He needs a bike that is pretty sharp cause he's a bit of a nutter in the corners.
A switchbladesque gixxer 600 would suit him just nicely I reckon but is a little out of that price range.
Similarly minded bikes should apply tho!
