Well the weatherman has changed his mind and seems to think it'll be fine with some cloud tomorrow so anyone keen to go for another spin?
Hazzy and I were thinking of going up north a little bit, inland from Port Chalmers and stuff. Bit of a route on Google Maps. Thinking of leaving about 11am.
No idea what the road is like.. or even if its sealed...I think it is though.
Anyone welcome to join us.![]()
So did anyone meet up with Jantar? - would have been a wonderful day for a ride.
A very relaxing day and pleasant riding. Maybe a bit too relaxing as I didn't get in the 800 km day I was hoping for, but I did manage 540 km including 3 hours night time riding which is what I really wanted anyway. I left Silverfern's place a bit before the others and headed down to Kaka Point where Stromfrau is doing a 3 day horse trek, then from there home via the Rongahere Rd.
Great to meet some new faces in the Otago group.![]()
