Is anyone here doing Sundown rally or are you all going to Off The Rails??

Neither for NH and I. My brothers wedding is on that weekend. We have expressed our disapointment with the timing.

So we are going to the roxburgh hospice rally this weekend instead

Well we're going to the "off the Rails" - the route to get there will depend on the weather and if any KB'rs end up here on Friday night and are itching for a backroad excursion.
One such route is via Millers Flat, Lake Onslow, Styx, Dunstan trail via the Loganburn to Clarkes Junction - very weather dependent.
My 17yr old son is hopeing to borrow a bike to ride to the rally - he has been offered one but I don't know if he'd want to ride that route above on it. Are there any other learner 250 riders going? (on slow 250's eg a GN)

I was rather gutted when I found out that that was on the same day as the Have a Go Day up at levels. I was looking forward to it

We already have the offer of one of those things for my son to ride - IF you are SERIOUSLY suggesting that I ride one as well, just to keep him company, then you really really don't know me!!! - I think at the end of a ride like that I would pick it up, raise it above my head, and then "park it" on top of your tent!!!
