Hey mate, i could be keen for a wee ride if the land is quite dry and a bit loose and a couple of small jumps it would be perfect

hey mate yeah it's dried out heaps since I wa last out about three weeks ago... there are some small features up the top end of the farm and Im sure the farmer won't mind if we fashion a couple of jumps... we could even put some on my olds land which is next door. Theres a neat looking uphill track which Im keen to ride but not on my own.... old rules of any bike DH or MOTO don;t ride alone... Oh and yeah theres always beers in the fridge at home.....
will drop you a pm with some details and we can work out a time to scope it out.

would be ken to find other easy access local riding as well.....

the petrol station in Middlemarch owned by Trail Journeys" is changing to only regular or desiel. No premium. Riders might wanna keep in mind that that the only premium will be in outram and an hour and a half ride to Ranfurly before premium is available. I dunno the hours petrol is available in Ranfurly. Any complaints send them to the website of www.trailjourneys.co.nz
Riding a motorcycle up highway 87 just got harder!

I've complained. They bought the petrol station on a 'like for like' basis and now they're trying to exclude a garage and premium fuel. I've complained you should too! push bikes don't own Otago!

Can you get an additive to take 91 up to 96 octane - I'm sure I've seen octane boosters in garages before??

This might be worth starting a thread on because theres a few remote gas stations (Clinton will be another one shortly) that will have 24hr card pumps but will only have 91 and diesel. Could be useful to have small bottle of octane booster stored on the bike for emergency fills at places like this. I'll start a thread

I often struggle to understand how some think they can dictate how other people run they own businesses.

If it is not economically viable to ship and store a poorer selling product, who are you to tell them that they must do so?

Would it make you happier if they did as you demand, and went belly-up in the process, and shut down altogether - like so many provincial stations before...?

Some petrol is better than no petrol. Be thankful that they're continuing the provincial struggle.
