On my way to take P up to get her gloves we're waiting at this intersection when up roars the big yellow custard square. After a cursory acknowledgment of the rider there is a great deal more interaction with the pillion (note to myself - change the deodorant) - and then we go to take off and big yellow stalls??
What happen XK??? - we'd turned up the one way and I kept looking in the mirrors but never saw you come round the corner - did P slip her hand under your leg and turn your keys off???![]()
Hope you got home OK

25 years since i planted trees, might be a bit rusty...i'm keen.
OK thanks for the feedback on this KB forest idea. Just thought I'd put some potential time frames around it, all going well, and some other comments.
Firstly thanks for the interest - looks like its a goer and I have little doubt that if I put this message on a thread of its own with definite dates and plans etc we'd get a lot of interest from KB'rs all over the country - however one step at a time and we'll save that for later.
One comment for the benefit of SD and XKNuts - I would propose planting quite large beech trees (about 3ft high) - ie planter bag size rather than bare root or small seedling size. These trees actually do grow quite fast and I'm sure in the normal course of events you will both live long enough to see a very satisfying forest emerging from the residue of what was there before.!!! - just stay healthy OK!!
Time frames - all going well (funding being the issue here) I would get the block sprayed in Feb next year, allow a few months for that to take effect and for some breakdown of existing vegetation would mean the earliest planting would start would be May next year and through the winter. It would be good to plant a variety of other natives to help attract birds etc but I'm sure we'll work that out at the time.
Some time between now and then I'll invite you all out here for a look and we can crash through some of the block and also go through the old railway tunnel under the road at the top of round hill (good day to bring kids)
whats a tree??? is it a branch of some institute? I may twig on, can I fit it in my trunk... ok I leaf now...
can i get my carbon credits in advance..........in cash
