yeah you don't get them the government does... what a load of crap and don't talk to me about the kyoto protocol

It doesn't change the way the chiness or any other country think and or do things... oh we just buy more credits and then still fuck the planet up...

anyhow... I'll plant a tree or 2 when you ready to do... just cause... no other reason needed

    Easter BBQ

BOTB you need to read back a couple of pages.

OK everyone - how about a lunchtime BBQ here this coming Easter Sunday. Bring good walking footware and we;ll bushbash through some of that tree block and also through the old railway tunnel that goes under the road at the top of Round hill (bring torch).
Feel free to come in a car if appropriate and BOTB and others with kids bring them and we'll set up an easter egg treasure hunt round the section. I;ll have my 2 boys with me so I won't be riding anywhere other than trailbikes round the farm for a few days.
There is plenty of space here including a handy hut with a bunk and beds so if anyone wants to chuck in their sleeping bag so you don't have to ride home thats fine.
Would be handy maybe to have another car or 4WD anyway - I can put the extra seats up in the pajero and take 7 - if we're going to do a tiki tour round the farm.
We'll sort food etc over the next day or so - main thing - who can come???
Either post here or PM me
    cheers B
PS if it stays warm for a couple of days we should start seeing a decent number of field mushrooms which are quite nice done on the BBQ - theres the odd one around at the moment but not enough to go out to pick for a feed, but with the rain yesterday and some warmth they could take off.

BBQ sounds great. So who's keen to head down from Dunedin? What route will we take?

I think I've got family coming but not sure at this stage. Won't know until the weekend.

Thats quite understandable D - I mean this weekend must be at least a month away so why would you have any idea of what you are doing??

We'll be up for the tree thing.

Although I may need to edumacated on the carbon benefits of clearing scrub and then planting trees - don't all green plants and trees convert CO2 ??? Do trees do it better - or just in a more "noble" manner? (It's been too many years since high school....).

The Easter Sunday thing sounds good - we will confirm later in the week. I'll be on-call unfortunately - do you have 027 coverage at your place RM?

Mrs V (now "Mutley" - http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...ad.php?t=47303 ) and I will probably come in the cage, so we'll have spare seats if required.
