I'd be losing some vital parts if I went this Saturday, esp with Beaumont Rally the following W/end. I need brownie points urgently. So NO I won't be going.
I also cannot see the reasoning for The Boney Ostrich Rally (Sat 26th May) being one week b4 the Brass Monkey? Terrible timing.

Looks like we wait and see how this develops, there was quite a bit of interest in a ride down that way and it would be a shame to go on a day that didn't suit quite a few - having said that I'm getting serious bike withdrawal symptoms and will be going for a ride somewhere.

Brownie points???? - do we need to have the KB working bee at your place????
As for this Boney Ostrich - Lumsden in late May???? - please explain to me the appeal of this. At least the Brass Monkey is usually cold and dry, whereas Lumsden......... Actually I know the manager of the large Ostrich farm over there and it is quite interesting to look around. They have a really high tech hatchery and lab in Lumsden itself but I don't imagine they will be expecting to entertain a whole bunch of bikers other than putting ostrich on the menu.

Last year it pissed down on the way home which I did not enjoy, BUT now I have discovered "JAY-EL" Bee's wax leather dressing. Highly recommended for waterproofing leathers.
Lumsden? Well I had business in Gore sooooo I rode on!
