Baa humbug, missed out by about an hour, shifting people's households always takes longer than you think, but still, my first good deed of the day has been done. Hope you guys have a safe ride and tomorrow I have no obligations so if the weather is good, maybe an 11 am ride to Outram for coffee at Wobbly Goat then who knows from there?

Virago and I just got back from a ride round the peninsula road. Being an L plate rider I need lots of practice at town riding but also like to have a blat from time to time. Great day for it. Saw heaps of bikes out on the same loop, but going the other way. Sorry to those who waved to me up on the twisty bits at the top who didn't get a repy but I was hanging on for dear life. Hope to get better control soon.

Hope you others had a great ride north. There is nothing better than getting out and enjoying a sunny days riding with good company

Nice to hear your out there doin it too Mutley. We had a great day Nighthawk Cold comfort xknuts and two of his Tiumph buddies and myself went up to Palmy for a coffee via the Karitane coast rd then thru Macraes to Middlemarch and home was a great day (but for one of us had a wee mechanical hiccup and had to turn back early) hope your all good now xk

We went up through Middlemarch, Hyde etc a couple of days ago to Danseys Pass Coach Inn where we had a job to do. Lovely sunny day, fabulous scenery but unfortunately had to go in the car. Carried on over pass when job finished. Not a cruiser bike road but I can see why the adventure bike riders love it.
