Not really, it clashed last year but it was the first Bert Munro.

The Mad Magpie was there first, so the Berty Germ clashes with the already established Mad Bird.

Kick Berty Germ into touch

and let them find their own date.

I'm going with the screwed up bird again this year.

Went with NH on his way to Akaroa. I only went to Oamaru and back, but I was pleasantly surprised at how well I did. Except for the road works I probably averaged about 90 km on the open road and according to the GPS my top speed was 108. (shhh) My only issues were the car that decided it wanted to imitate hemorrhoid cream and that I am a tiny bit achy.

Lots of bikes on the road and a great day for a ride.

Anyone keen on a bit of a ride tomorrow?

Im keen V be nice to make it a group ride . Im away for the weekend but lets get on to it soon. Sounz like theres 5 of us for starters.
