    Thumbs up Teretonga / Catlins

Thank you Daffyd (Pounawea) for the jerry can of gas helping another KB'er out yesterday. An interesting ride South, patchy dry & wet but improving as we went. Didn't push it with Xaria in tow.
Teretonga stayed fine as Free2b and I watched interesting cars & bikes dice on the track and strolled the pits talking to identities who remembered Teretonga's history, champions and crashes.
A plan to ride the Catlins northward home could have been twarted due to my Hurricane tanks range is only 85 miles (km's ??). Phoned Daffyd, "petrol at Pounawea till 6.30pm", OK we are off, arrive at 6.15pm to find Daffyd with the gas. Shop closedat 6.00pm, "Good on ya mate" is all I can say! KB'ers are a great lot, aren't we

Had a good rid down and while XkNuts and Free2b went to the races me and Xaria did the visiting thing then did a few caches. Ride back up through the catlins and visit DaffyD and a quick visit at Scummy's them home...

wasn't a bad day concidering me and xaria said we weren't going to do anything as we saving our penny's for up and coming rallies season onslaught...

Won't always be if you keep referring to me as a 'Pounawean'. I'm a 'Papatowai'ian'!

    NOT a Dunedin Ride but...

Got home from work today thinking them pesky Dunners KBers were here AGAIN!

But no, CB decided to take the Sporty for a skid 'round the block (or two) to get her eye in for a ride in a week or two.

Only problem she had was her gloves were tight around the wrist - and now and then did the 1st - neutral - 2nd neutral - 1st shuffle.
Winding up drongos, foil hat wearers and over sensitive KBers for over 14,000 posts...........
