Yes I do like being at home and as it happens I think I'll be going into winter hermit mode very soon - the suggested Borland Lodge thing should cost less per head than a rally. The place is like a camping ground with cabins and a central cooking dining area. I've been there with a couple of school camps.
I wasn't thinking of anything soon though D, I'd rather go there when its warmer so you just get your pre-lamb a into g and don't worry about it for now.
Is that lad of yours bouncing around again now?

Can anyone enlighten me on how to post images-have some of the Brass here.
There is no "manage attachments" box on my reply page (as per FAQ page) and the tool bar above this text does not appear to be "live". Am i a third class citizen or just not worthy of a funtioning membership?

Bike probably needed a lie down and a cup of tea after trying to keep up with you lot. I intend to exchange my bike gloves for snowboarding ones for a few months and resort to AWD until spring. Look forward to the KB get together, wherever it is

I'm a very part-time biker, spending most days zooming around Dunedin in my work cage. I seldom get the bike out if it's below about 12 degrees.

I'm curious - did any Dunedin KBers venture out on two wheels today? If so, by choice or necessity?

Lets be real here(as indicated earlier in this thread) most of us ride a bike for the sheer joy and exhilaration only experienced on two wheels. I personally used mine for work Wed and the cage on Thurs (work and groceries). I would venture no-one in thier right mind would ride in this weather by choice (risking sleet, ice diesel, container trucks, SUV's,roadworks etc) What would that prove?

I would have rode my bike to work... but the time I get dressed in bike gear helmet, find keys un cover the bike, warm bike up I probably could have walk to and back from my work...
