Welcome Snappertrapper. Lots of riders here in Dunedin. At least one of us is out riding over the weekends and week days as the weather allows. Keep an eye on this thread for the next outing. Hope to meet you soon.

Thanks guys... good to hear the bike scene is strong down here. Northland has some good roads like you said but you don't get the big open spaces and lack of cages that you get down here. I could not believe how quite the road out through middlemarch was...

Thats probably because the wind out that way can blow you of the road (eh Xaria)

I will tell her that.... shes got a RM100 and has done a bit of riding on MX tracks but this is her first Roadie.... so its all pretty exciting for her. More fun being in control of your own bike even if it is a 150 than perched on the back of an R1

So what colour was the mini the bull was wearing and did it cover enough. AND what bars do you frequent to see this kind of stuff.

One of the best things about Dunedin is that in every direction there is a good ride. North: The loops out Palmerston etc, East: the Peninsula, South: Southern scenic route, West: Middlemarch and central otago. Really different roads / weather / traffic in each direction too.
Come and ride the Southern Roads with us.
