gsx 550ef choke cable 1986

Anyone got, or got a number for a choke cable for my 'new' bike???

It's OK once started, it's just starting the bugger! Anyways, has anyone got some advice? The local bike shop has to order one in from Japan, and that'll take 3 weeks and I won't be here that long!
Ring or mail me with any ideas!!

Hey Vicki,
I assume your still looking around up north ??? Be happy to try sort something out for you, either secondhand or if the outer of your old cable isn't too buggered, simply make a new inner up for it . Three weeks ex Japan is fairly std for bits for older bikes unfortionately....
I'm in New lynn which is in West Auckland, sing out when you get to or are passing through... Shouldn't, take much more than an hour or so to do... all things being equal...

Thanks for the offer, much appreciated, got the cable now, getting carbs sorted too!! Seems like I'm destined to live in Kerikeri with a bike that don't go! Never mind, I've found the pub...
