    Serious alcohol dilemma...

    I have been drinking Vodka cruiser for sometime now but find when i drink i end up with a migraine after about 2 bottles. I have drank most spirits and i don't like a lot of them but i really need to find something that is not going to give me a migraine so my question is if you have had this happen to you and what have you ended up drinking. Sorry Noal i don't think port would work for me. Suggestion appreciated.

    Sounds like your getting old bro.

    DRINK BEER ITS THE ONLY MANS DRINK AVAILABLE. WOMAN.
    Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

    Stay away from anything that is dark in colour - rum, anything with coke in it, red wine etc, try vodka and lemon, white wine, G&T - or you could always stick to water
    Diarrhoea is hereditary - it runs in your jeans

    If my nose was running money, I'd blow it all on you...

    Just to hijack the thread by being on-topic, I get the same halfway through my first glass of Chardonnay. Reds are fine and so is most other whites. I asked a vintner once who said "oh yeah that's preservative 212..." or something to that effect.

    "Preservative"???? Wtf, I thought wine was a naturally fermented grape product {Insert Tui Moment here}

    So, it might be that you are also allergic to one of these chemical nasties, trouble is, I don't think they have to list them on the bottle although you should be able to get something off a website. Look at all the stuff that does this to you and I bet they have a common link.

    After years of experimenting nothing beats this for getting blind without the headache. [primarily Tequila and crushed ice]

    Stay away from Beer, Wine [red is bad] and cheap booze.

    Before drinking make sure you are well fed and watered, Coffee before or after a drink tends to dry you out.

    Mixing drugs [prescription or otherwise] can have unpredictable results, party drugs are a definite no-no.

    Smoking is also a bad mixer drying the body out.

    Water is the best drink, particularly when consumed in good spirits...

    Malt whisky should always have a splash of water added. It liberates the volatiles, greatly enhancing the sipping pleasure.
