Do anyone know where I can get one of those old used steel barrel/drums?
I would like to use it for a work-bench/welding table... It does not have to be new just in a state where I can paint it and make it look decant.
If anyone in the Wellington region know of a place please let me know.

Find a garage workshop which does oil changes. Ask them what they do with their old drums. Some might tell you they put them out back and it's first in first served. Sometimes you can get lucky and score some free clean oil (if they shut the lid properly). Most drums are the 44gal ones, occasionally they'll have smaller 60L.
