    Lightbulb Flying the nest

The days of throwing the dirty washing out my bedroom door and it returning clean and folded are leaving soon. So too are the days of hiding the bottles of rum and Jim Beam.
In less than one week I'll be free from the 50 questions that the parental units fly at me when I return home from work two days late ( ). Borrowing dads large hammer when I come across a stubborn bolt won't be so easy.

Just thought the guys in Christchurch might need some warning. A really awesome, fun, smart, funny and modest guy will be grasing their city with his residence

Have fun mate. I too left home at 17, and also studied engineering at Canterbury (Have a drink at The Foundry and The Bush for me).

If you enjoy what you're studying, passing exams is easy!
