    The biggest advantage is the amount of HP that it takes to drive the weight of the actual chain, this can also mean the gyro effect of the chain will affect the suspention less in its travel . BUT as for the question of will you notice a differance im afraid the answer is not a shits show, the saving on weight is minimal and will actually only be a few hundred grams at best including alloy gear wheels.
    Have a look at www. jt sprockets . com and see if what you want is around.
    I converted my CBR to 520 DID H/D non o-ring just to get a better range of gearing options and as young Bistard says the rim weight is more worth while anyhow.
