I have ridden it literally a dozen times since I bought it. Half of those were on the street. I have had a lot of fun on it, and improved my riding style/technique a lot in short space of time weith track riding. No fear of cars power poles, policeman etc, just you and the bike. It passed scrutineering at wanganui on boxing day, which i'd assume be the toughest scrutineering in the country. It will never win the nationals unless casey stoner comes over and rides it. it is to old.
Perfect bike for the person who has a shiny bike, and wants to do trackdays/club meets but doesnt want to send there fairings down the road. Fibre glass kits are cheap. Or someone who wants a stunt bike (SUDEEP) Or someone who just wants cheap race/track bike. FFS zxr4s sell for 4k. This is a lot more bike than a 400.
This bike has history attached to it. Johann Bruns won the battle of the streets on it. Sudeeps cartwheeled it. Yo sent it down the track a few times. Ive biffed it when i was winning my race. Bruce biffed it now long after he got it, which is how it became a race bike.
