my guess is he saw the corner tighten or do something he didn't expect, shut the throttle off, which caused the rear to momentarily loose grip, he panicked, thought 'I really don't want to hit that wall...' and hit it, cos he was thinking about the wall. If he had kept his feet on the pegs, looked round the corner at the vanishing point, and smoothed out the throttle, he wouldn't have ended up on youtube.

He drops it down a gear by all accounts, lets the clutch out too quickly and cause the back of the bike to hop out. Look at his left foot, it's coming back up from a downward motion, judging by that and the clutch action that'd be my guestimate
