looks like he locked the front wheel....maybe gravel, maybe panicked, maybe a blow out?

(lol at the way his mate doesn't notice and just keeps on riding though)

His mate noticed, thats why the rear end of the bike, where the camera was mounted moved around at the end of the movie. He was breaking hard.

    No he wasn't

From my point of view he's accelerating hard out of the corner. A.k.a going faster, the anti-christ of braking.

And mine. The engine note is clearly winding up as the clip ends.

Only when he is coming out of the corner. Going in he sounds to be taking it a bit easier, giving that driveway coming on to the road a bit more space by taking a tighter inside line.

Slow in - fast out, is a good safe way to tackle street riding and its unforeseen obstacles..

that is seriously one of the more worrying things i've seen in a while because it was a (at least semi) organised event.

WTF was that driver thinking, you don't cross a drag strip because the speeds at which they travel are too difficult to judge. WHere was this vid by the way...country wise?

Yeah very odd for the yanks to be wearing protective gear

I was in New York in 06 and I noticed no one wore and protective gear, I only saw one guy with a helmet and a leather jacket.

What is worse is the cyclists, they’re suicidal. You can watch with alarming regularity the number of cyclists that ride into oncoming traffic. Thankfully I did not see any of them get wiped out
