Yeah - you can easily double that # too!

We expect to exceed the 525 bikes there last year.

The Bay Times are sending a Reporter, and I've told them the best place for photo opportunities etc - eg, on the Barkes Corner pedestrian overbridge.........should be a GOODIE!!!!

    We sure will.

Did anyone read in the paper where they said that anyone with a motorcycle or a Scooter??? is welcome.

Would the scooters keep up in the 100k zones?

They don't necessarily do 100 in the 100km zone. Remembering that half of the ride is to pose, so people need to see the bikes. No hooning for you!

I think they've got better in recent years and go a bit faster. At the run about five years ago, the cop at the front was doing 30 in the 100 zone (30, fark that!!!). My VTR reached over 100 degrees and the cooling fans were blasting

The speed on the motorway part to Barkes Corner will probably be pretty sedate (well it was the last run I did, just checked my badge it was 1997 ), the scooters can slipstream behind the Goldwings ...

My rustbucket has the aerodynamics of a hummer. It creates enough backdraft that courier vans use me to save petrol

Heh, seriously, I'm going to have to somehow find you guys and say gidday!
