K&N for bandit 250?

I got news that K&N filters were not built for bandits anymore.. Is this true? Ive done so much googling its not funny, cant see any alternatives. Can someone open the curtains on this one?

I might be.. I'm overhauling the engine, K&N hopefully, rejet and dyno after an exhaust system and flatside carbies. I just really need a new tank and itl be almost perfect.. Send me a PM with your number, id like to see another bandit and check out what other people have done.
