    Yeah, sounz like bullshit to me too... but what can i say, it worked...but then again it couldv'e been my intense cleaning of the carbs too... but like i said, nothing obviously blocking anything up...weird...

    Oh and the other thing... she sounz different now, got a more throaty roar that it never had...kinda like when you rev it with the aircleaner off - yes i remembered to put it back ha ha..

    Mine is still running lumpily, like on 3 to 3.5 cylinders. COme to my wits end trying to figure it out so into the shop she goes.
    The carbs were fully reconditioned and set as per factory specs (not balanced obviously) and reinstalled but still I have the same issues.

    I'll let you know how I get on, Dark Crystal.

    You are right, when they're going fine, they're an absolute hoot to ride.
    Just one particular person said they weren't but we won't go there again (literally!!).
